Ok, the holidays are done, all my graduation stuff is done, I can call myself “Dr.”
I’m going to be moving over the course of this month, temporarily into my parents’, while I look for a job. So of course that makes for a lot of other things I have to do, both with moving addresses and job searching and suchlike things.
The shop has been reopened, though the yarn is not relisted yet, and there’s new things to go up there.
I’ve got knitting to post, gift knitting to post, and at least two exciting new developments to post.
However, right now I’m rushing to get a research proposal and application in to do analysis of metabolic gene expression shifts in sea nettle and moon jelly jellyfish that’s due Friday. I’ve learned more about jellyfish in the past two days… wow. Cool things.
I know I’ve put you guys on hold for way too long, but I promise things are calming and new stuff will come.

I just started following your blog and I think you’re great. A real inspiration. I’ve got a college degree and no job, yet I love working with textiles so it seems like we have things in common. However, you are one up – you can officially be called Dr. I’m still “Miss.” Excited to see your pics. Take care, Gnome.

mmm… jellyfish… Can I please just quote Finding Nemo? “It’s awesome, Jelly-man…”
…Awesome that you graduated, that is!
Congratulations! And now I’m thinking, “you put the lime in the coconut…”
I don’t know if you remember me commenting a bit before Thanksgiving, but rest assured, I haven’t forgotten!
Good luck with the moving this month, and I’ll just keep popping in infrequently till things settle down, if you don’t mind.
‘Grats, again!
